Man Suspected In Fatal Stabbing Of Wife Turns Himself In
Greenbelt man suspected of stabbing his wife to death surrendered himself Wednesday to Prince George's County Police.

PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD -- James Dorsey, 41, of Greenbelt turned himself in Wednesday to Prince George's County Police, according to a police release. Homicide detectives had issued an arrest warrant for Dorsey in connection with the fatal stabbing of his wife, Nika Dorsey, 42, of Greenbelt.
On Thursday, Jan 1, at about 5:30 a.m., officers responded for a welfare check of a woman inside a car in the 8700 block of Ritchie Drive in Capital Heights. Officers found Nika Dorsey in the car, suffering from trauma to the upper torso. She was pronounced dead on the scene.
After an investigation, homicide detectives issued an arrest warrant for James Dorsey for 1st degree murder.

On Jan. 9, James Dorsey turned himself into the Department of Corrections, where he is being held on a no-bond status.
