New Pediatric Urgent Care Center Open in Greenbelt

One of the nation’s largest pediatric care providers opened its doors in Greenbelt this week, bringing a unique approach to pediatric care to the Washington, D.C., metro area for the first time.

PM Pediatrics, a pediatric urgent care center servicing kids from newborns through college, opened its first D.C.-based location on Monday in Greenbelt. The office is open from noon until midnight seven days a week, 365 days a year, including holidays, and it is unique in that it specifically services pediatric clients.

“PM Pediatrics treats children and young adults exclusively, utilizing Pediatric Emergency Specialists, appropriately sized equipment and an office environment tailored to deliver the best possible care for pediatric patients,” according to a recent news release.

The office has its own X-ray machine and lab, and is a suitable option to treat anything from a fever to dehydration to an infection; they’ll even give you stitches if you took a bad fall. PM Pediatrics provides this care as an alternative to the hospital ER.

The new location is the company’s 17th location nationwide.
