Open Mic with James and Martha at the New Deal
Locals and friends get their chance to sing under the stage lights in Greenbelt, MD.
It's second Thursday, and that means open mic night at the with James Riordan and Martha Heil—that's James and Martha to you. Locals and patrons can get in touch with their inner crooner and sing before a hometown crowd.
The mic opens up at 7 p.m. and runs until 9 p.m. Bring your guitar, harmonica, or ukelele—or go for it acapello style.
Look for the signup sheet when you arrive, and get on the list to debut your inner star. If that inner star is a bit rusty, the New Deal regulars have been known to be forgiving.
