Bowman Spotted Entering Greenbelt Park
The park is heavily visited, so hunting is not allowed for safety reasons, according to U.S. Park Police.

A man carrying a hunting bow was reported heading into on Thursday at about 7 p.m., according to U.S. Park Police on Monday.
No hunting is allowed there, given the number of park visitors, according to Sgt. David Schlosser, spokesman for the U.S. Park Police.
"The main issue is that we're in a heavily visited area with a lot of people there that are visiting the park, and so it's a safety issue," he said.
The witness reported seeing the bowman enter in the vicinity of Good Luck Road and Kenilworth Avenue (MD 201), according to police.
Park Police went in to search, and a police K-9 attempted to track, but they were unsuccessful, according to Schlosser.
"The critical thing to take from this is that we absolutely appreciate people making reports to us that there is criminal activity," Schlosser said.
