What's Up With the Green Line: Weekend Forecast

Green Line looks good, but watch out for work hot spots if you're transferring to another line.

Green Liners should have a pretty easy time of it this weekend, with no work slated for the Green Line; but look out for work hot spots if you’re transferring to the Blue, Yellow, Red or Orange lines.

  • Buses will replace trains between the Pentagon City and King Street stations.
  • Three stations will be closed — Crystal City, National Airport and Braddock Road.
  • Metro recommends customers traveling through the affected portion of the Blue/Yellow lines allow about 30 minutes of additional travel time.

Red Line

  • Red Line trains will share one track between Dupont Circle and Judiciary Square stations.
  • Metro recommends customers allow about 30 minutes of additional travel time and expect crowding conditions.
