What's Up With the Green Line: Weekend Forecast

Green Liners should have a pretty easy time of it this weekend, with no work slated for the Green Line; but look out for work hot spots if you’re transferring to the Blue, Yellow, Red or Orange lines.

10 p.m. Friday through closing Sunday (Blue, Yellow, Red and Orange)

Blue and Yellow Lines

• Buses will replace trains between the Pentagon City and King Street stations.
• Three stations will be closed — Crystal City, National Airport and Braddock Road.
• Metro recommends customers traveling through the affected portion of the Blue/Yellow lines allow about 30 minutes of additional travel time.

Red Line

• Red Line trains will share one track between Dupont Circle and Judiciary Square stations.
• Metro recommends customers allow about 30 minutes of additional travel time and expect crowding conditions.

Blue Line

• Blue Line trains will share one track between Stadium-Armory and Addison Road stations as Metro repairs the floating slabs underneath the rails.
• Metro recommends that customers allow about 20 minutes of additional travel time.

Orange Line

• Orange Line trains will share one track between Ballston and East Falls Church stations while Metro installs new track.
• Metro recommends that customers allow about 20 minutes of additional travel time.
