Who Will Be Greenbelt's Next Outstanding Citizen of the Year?
The selection committee wants your input.

The Greenbelt Outstanding Citizen of the Year selection committee has started looking for Greenbelt's next honoree, and it's asking for your input.
For 40 years, the committee has honored a volunteer. The honoree will be officially recognized at Greenbelt's annual Labor Day Festival, receives gifts and his or her name is added to a permanent plaque in the community center. The honoree will also serve as the Grand Marshal for the Labor Day Parade.

Don't let your favorite get left out by default. Let the selection committee know your nominee by July 30.
Your nominee could be someone who has organized a program for Greenbelt's benefit, according to committee chair Bob Zugby. Or he or she may give time and talent to teach, lend a helping hand to those in need, try to ensure that good things happen for others, and more.
