Chapel Road House Fire: Firefighter Injured, According To SHCO

Firefighters from Harford and Cecil counties handled a house fire on Chapel Road Monday night, according to the Susquehanna Hose Company.

HAVRE DE GRACE, MD — One firefighter was injured in a house fire on Chapel Road Monday night in Havre de Grace, officials said.

Just before 10 p.m., the Susquehanna Hose Company reported its crew was in the 1700 block of Chapel Road, where fire was visible from a two-story home.

Firefighters from Level, Aberdeen and Cecil County assisted, as did the Havre de Grace Ambulance Corps, officials said.

By 10:20 p.m., the hose company said most of the fire had been knocked, and firefighters were ensuring the blaze had not spread.

One firefighter was being treated for a laceration, according to the Susquehanna Hose Company.
