2 Havre de Grace Men Charged In Cocaine Conspiracy Case: Sheriff

The Harford County cocaine distribution network reportedly ran from Harford to Arizona.

BEL AIR, MD — Two Havre de Grace residents were among 22 people indicted in connection with a cocaine distribution conspiracy in Harford County, officials announced Tuesday.

Starting in February 2019, the Harford County Sheriff's Office said detectives began following up on two community tips that ultimately took them around the country.

The case was investigated by the Harford County Narcotics Task Force, which includes officers from municipal, state and county law enforcement agencies in Harford County.

Investigators went to Tucson, Arizona, where they said they saw what they believed to be drug transactions tied to transport of cocaine back to Harford County for distribution.

During the course of the investigation, which spanned 2019 and 2020, authorities reported they recovered about $110,000 in cash; more than 2.5 kilograms of cocaine; 435 grams of marijuana; 69 pills of fentanyl; 66.2 grams of crack cocaine; 31 Suboxone strips; 28 firearms; and 19 vehicles valued at more than $258,000.

A court-authorized wiretap of 18 phone lines and one social media platform gave detectives information that led to state and federal indictments from July to October 2020.

Adrian Goodwin, 35, of Havre de Grace, is being held at Harford County Detention Center in connection with the drug dealing ring, according to the Harford County Sheriff's Office. He was arrested in 2020.

Goodwin was charged with conspiracy to distribute narcotics, three counts of possessing a firearm with a felony conviction and other offenses, court records show. The alleged offenses took place from March to May 2020, according to court records.

He is among 18 people indicted in connection with the cocaine distribution conspiracy, according to the Harford County Sheriff's Office.

Four others have been charged in standalone cases that resulted from the investigation. They face drug distribution and firearms offenses, authorities reported.

Gerrick Jackson, 39, of the 100 block of Bloomsbury Avenue in Havre de Grace, was charged with five counts of firearm possession with a felony conviction, five counts of illegal possession of a registered firearm, five counts of possessing a firearm in a drug case, two counts of possession of paraphernalia, illegal possession of ammunition and possession of a rifle/shot gun with felony conviction.

Arrests continued in what authorities called "Operation All Aboard" until April, the sheriff's office reported.

One warrant remains outstanding, the Harford County Sheriff's Office reported June 8; Lee Anna Taylor, 48, of the 2200 block of Castleton Road in Darlington, is wanted for drug distribution.
