Vandiver Inn to Host Regional Food Fight
Four chefs from area restaurants vie for the title of 'Food Fight Chef of the Year.'

The sixh Annual AAUW Harford County”Food Fight” will be held on Monday, May 18, at 6:30 p.m.
The event is hosted by Susan and John Muldoon at their beautiful Vandiver Inn located at 301 South Union Street in Havre de Grace.
Four chefs from area restaurants will vie for the title of “Food Fight Chef of the Year”. Their challenge will be to create an appetizer and entree using only food from a pantry and a mystery box. Judges will evaluate the resultant offerings based on taste, originality, presentation and use of the mystery box’s items.

Participating this year are: Private chef Timothy Weinhold with Travis Metz as his sous chef, MacGregor’s Yale Koplovitz with Daniel Lundsford as sous chef, Bushmill Tavern’s Mark Littleton with sous chef Ken Henry and from Pairings Bistro Jon Kohler with Matt Davis as sous chef.
Tickets for judges are $35 and are limited to 30 participants. The audience tickets are $5 for students, $8 for adults and $20 for a family of 4 or more. Food and drinks as well as a cash bar will be available for purchase by all. Attendees will receive a swag bag and will have the opportunity to purchase raffle tickets for several baskets.
