Cal Ripken And Governor Tour Ripken Stadium Mass Vaccination Site

The Orioles Hall of Famer joined Gov. Larry Hogan at the Harford County stadium where drive-thru COVID-19 vaccines are administered.

ABERDEEN, MD — Gov. Larry Hogan toured the mass vaccination site in Harford County Wednesday.

Ripken Stadium opened as a mass vaccination site about two weeks ago, on April 22.

Hogan's visit coincided with the announcement that eligible Marylanders can get vaccinated without an appointment at any of the state’s 13 mass vaccination sites.

Ripken Stadium offers drive-thru vaccinations, with no appointment necessary, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday to Saturday.

Hogan joined Orioles Hall of Famer Cal Ripken at Leidos Field at Ripken Stadium in Aberdeen.

The Pfizer vaccine is administered at the stadium, which is at 873 Long Dr., Aberdeen, MD 21001.

People can visit covidvax.maryland.gov or by calling the state’s COVID-19 Vaccination Support Center at 1-855-MD-GOVAX (1-855-634-6829).
