Christopher Boyd, 19, Of Darlington
A teen who graduated from Havre de Grace High School was reportedly killed on Christmas Eve in a crash.
Christopher Xavier Boyd, of Darlington, died Dec. 24. He was 19.
Boyd was born in Towson to Christopher Jonathan and Melissa (Nelson) Boyd, according to his obituary, which says he was also survived by brother, Ayden Boyd; aunts Michele Nelson and Kim Harrell; uncles Jack Harrell, Roy Boyd Jr., James Tremper and Joseph Tremper; grandmother, Carolyn Nelson; grandfather, Roy Boyd Sr.; girlfriend, Kyleigh Givens; and extended family.
Visitation was from 2 to 6 p.m. at McComas Funeral Home, 1317 Cokesbury Rd., in Abingdon.

Services will be private for family and invited guests.
A GoFundMe campaign has raised more than $34,000 for Boyd's family to help with funeral costs, emergency services and towing expenses after he lost his life in a Christmas Eve crash.

On Christmas Eve, Harford County was under a flash flood watch and wind advisory.
Boyd was on his way to help a friend who had car trouble when, on the way there, "his car began to hydroplane, skidded off the road, striking a pine tree, and he was tragically killed on Christmas Eve," according to the GoFundMe page.
"If you didn't know Christopher or his family that is a tragedy in itself because he was the most selfless and flawless young man in this world," the organizer of the GoFundMe page wrote. "He would do anything for anyone."
Boyd was a Havre de Grace High School graduate who was attending Towson University, according to the GoFundMe page.
"Christopher Boyd was the best of all of us," Havre de Grace Warriors Varsity Wrestling said in a statement. "We could spend all day listing his great qualities. If you knew him, you already know all of this. Our wrestling family is mourning his passing as is our school and our town. His heart was as big as his smile. The Wrestling Family is big, and we are asking it to throw its arms around the Boyd family."
