Community Garden Expands in HdG

The Havre De Grace Green Team has almost completed its planned expansion of the Old Reservoir Community Garden in Havre De Grace,.

This planned expansion will provide 8 more 10'x10' community garden plots for families who wish to "Grow Instead of Owe!"

Old Reservoir Community Garden has zero run off from street and roads. With an absolute stunning and beautiful view of the Susquehanna River joining the Chesapeake Bay as your backdrop, OuR Community Garden delights all of your senses! Sunrise to Sunset beauty (not to mention photons for photosynthesis) daily for growing any and everything. Our gardeners help out and work together diligently to provide a safe and organic place for all your vegetable and fruit growing needs.

Coming by way of Rt. 155 to Graceview Drive and then Quarry Road, the Old Reservoir Community Garden can be found on city-owned land behind and adjacent to the HdG Community Center. A short walk from the parking lot through the woods is the flat field that once held the city’s water reservoir.
