1 Killed In Conowingo Road Crash: Police
Three vehicles were involved in a deadly crash Saturday night in Harford County, police said.
HARFORD COUNTY, MD — One person was killed and two others were injured in a crash Saturday night in Harford County that closed a stretch of US 1/Conowingo Road near Darlington for hours, according to police.
Three vehicles crashed at 8:49 p.m., officials said. At least one person was trapped in the 4700 block of Conowingo Road and had to be rescued from the wreck, according to Jenn Chenworth, spokeswoman for the Harford County Volunteer Fire and EMS Association. Members of the Darlington Volunteer Fire Company and other first responders handled the crash, she said.
One person died, and two others were taken to area hospitals with injuries that were not believed to be life-threatening, Sgt. Cioka of the Maryland State Police Bel Air Barrack told Patch.

Conowingo Road was closed from Castleton to Shuresville roads until approximately midnight.
