3 Hospitalized From Darlington Crash: Officials

A crash on Conowingo Road resulted in entrapment and required a medevac, authorities said.

DARLINGTON, MD — Three people were hospitalized after a crash in Darlington Sunday night, according to authorities. Officials said two were taken by ambulance and a third required medevac transport from the crash site, which was in the 4100 block of Conowingo Road.

The crash happened around 7:30 p.m., according to Jenn Chenworth, spokesperson for the Harford County Volunteer Fire and EMS Association. At least one person was trapped, she said.

All three victims were taken to regional trauma centers for treatment, and the one who was taken by helicopter was in critical condition, according to Chenworth.

She advised people to avoid the area, since fire and police personnel remained at the scene.

Conowingo Road/US 1 was closed at Dublin Road/MD 440, state transportation officials reported before 9 p.m.
