Happy Mother’s Day From Lucie Amrhein

In celebration of Mother's Day on Sunday May 13, we asked Patch readers to write a letter to their mother and let us deliver it. This is Lucie Amrhein's letter to her mom:

Dear Mama,

As always, thank you for being the best mom. As your daughter, I couldn't imagine any other woman to look up to. From our silly adventures to our serious talks and our struggles, our family is strong because of you!

Not many people decide to follow their dreams as an adult, especially after three kids, but look at you! You got accepted into college, and you are soaring in a job that you love.

I am so proud to be your daughter! I love you!
