This year the grand marshal is Barb Baughman, who is a nursing patient access coordinator at Harford Memorial Hospital and has worked there for 39 years. Last year she helped triage more than 400 people with COVID-19 at the hospital, according to the Havre de Grace Independence Day Commission.
"This is just one reason by Barb Baughman is our Grand Marshal, as we honor Healthcare Heroes in this year's parade," organizers said. "You can cheer Barb on as she starts this year's parade. (She says she's never missed a parade - so let's make this one a parade she'll really remember!)"
