Havre de Grace Christmas Parade And Tree Lighting Schedule 2018

The Havre de Grace Christmas Parade and tree lighting are just some of the festivities happening in town on Friday, Dec. 7.

HAVRE DE GRACE, MD — The city of Havre de Grace is going all out for the annual Christmas tree lighting and parade. This year the events coincide with the "Holly Jolly First Friday" and "Holiday Market."

The parade will kick off at 6 p.m. on St. John Street, proceed to Washington Street and end on Congress Avenue.

Then Santa and Mayor William Martin will light the city's Christmas tree before Santa takes his seat in Santa Land to hear everyone's wishes.

Stores downtown will be open for extended hours for the occasion.

New this year for the festivities are food trucks 410 Empanadas, Cowboy Eats, Baltimore Crab Cake Company and Teriyaki Grill, according to Havre de Grace Tourism. They will be parked along Pennington Avenue.

Trees decorated by local organizations and businesses will also be on display inside Le Banque De Fleuve, 321 St. John St., as part of the "Holiday Tree Jubilee." The trees will be sold by silent auction. There is a $1 donation to enter from 4-8 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 7; bidding closes at 8 p.m.

The events will take place on Friday, Dec. 7, 2018, in downtown Havre de Grace. The "Holly Jolly First Friday" runs from 4:30 to 8:30 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 7. The parade will take place at 6 p.m.
