Havre de Grace Coronavirus Cases Total 825

HAVRE DE GRACE, MD — There have been 825 confirmed cases of the coronavirus in the ZIP code 21078 since the beginning of the pandemic, the Maryland Department of Health reported Tuesday.

In the last few weeks, the rate of new cases has decreased from 4 a week in the first month of February to 2.7 a week in the 21078 ZIP code, based on the latest Harford County health data.

Of the cases in Havre de Grace, 15 percent have been linked to nursing homes.

In the 21078 ZIP code, there have been 124 cases of the virus in nursing homes and four deaths from COVID-19, the disease caused by the virus, according to the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services.
