HAVRE DE GRACE, MD — Students enrolled in Harford County Public Schools start classes Tuesday, Sept. 3, the day after Labor Day. To help you plan, we've rounded up a list of important Harford County Public Schools dates for the coming school year. The calendar includes vacations, early dismissals and more.
Take note: The calendar has 180 scheduled days for students and eight makeup days allotted for inclement weather that will be added to the end of the school year should any closings occur.

9/27: Three-hour early dismissal; half-day pre-K canceled

October
10/9: Schools and offices closed for Yom Kippur
10/17 — Three-hour early dismissal; half-day pre-K canceled
10/18 — Schools closed for Maryland State Education Association Convention
November
11/1: Three-hour early dismissal for students
11/4: Schools closed for students for professional development/elementary conferences
