Howl-O-Ween In Havre de Grace Is Postponed Due To Rain
The forecast for Sunday calls for rain and potentially strong winds, so the dog costume contest has been postponed in Havre de Grace.

HAVRE DE GRACE, MD — Halloween will last a little longer for four-legged friends in Havre de Grace. The city's Halloween costume contest for dogs has been postponed due to the forecast, which calls for rain Sunday.
"Unfortunately, due to high chances of rain tomorrow, Howl-O-Ween is moving to November 3rd," organizers of the Howl-O-Ween event posted Saturday on Facebook. The event was to be held near the Concord Point Lighthouse.
"The lighthouse and keeper’s house will still be open if it doesn’t rain," organizers said.

The schedule for the event will be released once details have been confirmed.
Sunday's forecast in Havre de Grace includes a 100 percent chance of rain, according to the National Weather Service, likely after 2 a.m. Precipitation may total 1 to 2 inches.

It will be cloudy for most of Sunday, with a high near 73 and low around 50 degrees, the forecast says. Wind gusts up to 24 mph are possible during storms, which are possible before 2 p.m., according to the National Weather Service.
Howl-O-Ween will be 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 3, near Concord Point Lighthouse, 700 Concord Street, Havre de Grace, MD 21078.
