I-95 North Reopens In Cecil County After Crash Near Perryville
Part of the interstate was closed Saturday for hours after a crash near Perryville.

CECIL COUNTY, MD — After a worker was reportedly hit on Interstate 95 near Perryville, part of the interstate remained closed for hours. The closure began Saturday morning and continued into the afternoon for northbound lanes.
Multiple vehicles crashed on I-95 north past the exit for MD 222 before 10 a.m., according to state transportation officials.
A construction worker was hit and suffered serious injuries, requiring a medevac transport, WJZ reported.

At 10:30 a.m., the Maryland Transportation Authority reported the interstate was totally shut down on I-95 at Perryville Road/MD 222.
By 11 a.m., officials said that I-95 south had reopened.
