Live Wire Closes Otsego Street In Havre de Grace: Police
Hundreds were without power in Havre de Grace Saturday night, and a road was closed due to a wire down.
HAVRE DE GRACE, MD — A wire fell on Otsego Street Saturday night in Havre de Grace, according to authorities.
Traffic was detoured around the area of US 40/Pulaski Highway around 8 p.m., the Susquehanna Hose Company reported.
The deputy fire chief and tower truck responded, according to the hose company, and BGE was also summoned to the scene.

Drivers were advised to take alternate routes.
Otsego Street was closed between Legion Drive and Route 40 due to the live wires, the Havre de Grace Police Department reported after 9 p.m.

Police said BGE crews were called to fix the line, and the road would be shut down until further notice.
Before 11 p.m., BGE was reporting over 800 people in Harford County were without power, including nearly 300 customers in Havre de Grace.
The outages appeared to be off Bulle Rock Parkway, according to the utility company's outage map, which showed the issue was reported after 9 p.m. and was expected to be fixed by 12:45 a.m. Sunday.
