Miriam 'Mimi' Raudenbush Shires, 72

Miriam "Mimi" Raudenbush Shires of Port Deposit died Oct. 18. She was 72 years old.

Shires went to Havre de Grace High School and Salisbury University, and she retired from Havre de Grace Middle School, according to her obituary, which said volunteered with the Jaycees and Boys and Girls Club and was a member of Grace Reformed Episcopal Church in Havre de Grace.

A service in her memory will be held at 1 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 25, at the Concord Point Lighthouse, 700 Concord Street.
