Reserve a Community Garden Plot for 2016

Havre de Grace Green Team Community Garden Plots are available to interested gardeners and their families at our 4 Community Gardens located at:

• Market Street Gardens 1 & 2 in historic downtown Havre de Grace;
• Seneca Avenue at Todd Park off Revolution Street;
• Old Reservoir behind the HdG Community Center on Quarry Road off MD Route 155
  

The HdG Community Gardens are a joint project of the Havre de Grace Green Team and the City of Havre de Grace, are in their fifth year of operation.

To become a community gardener requires only a small annual fee of $35.00 for a 10’ x 10’ plot (with a maximum of two plots per gardener) and sharing in common tasks with other gardeners at their site. Each gardener decides what to plant and can make raised beds or other improvements to their plot. Deer fencing (if necessary), mulch, and water are available at each site.

To reserve your garden plot, please get an application form:

• At Havre de Grace Branch of the Harford County Public Library;
• At Havre de Grace City Hall Entrance;
• Request a form by email to the HdG Green Team at hdggreenteam@gmail.com;
