​Timothy Ross Pollitt, 75, Owner Of Pollitt Signs

Timothy Ross Pollitt of Havre de Grace, passed away surrounded by the love of his family on June 23, 2018. He was 75 years old. He was the devoted husband of Barbara A. Pollitt. Born on February 17, 1943, in Salisbury, MD to the late James Maitre and Bertiste E. (Horseman) Pollitt.

Mr. Pollitt was the devoted father of Michael R. Pollitt and his wife Debbie and the Late Matthew Pollitt. He was the adoring grandfather to Aaron and John Hoggard and Morgan Pollitt. Mr. Pollitt was the brother of Eric Pierre Pollitt and his wife Shirley. He is survived by his sister-in-law Jeannie Pollitt who is the wife of his late brother James Maitre Pollitt.

Mr. Pollitt was the owner of Pollitt Signs. He was an avid reader of science fiction and made numerous trips to Barnes and Noble. He loved Havre de Grace Little League Baseball and was highly dedicated over the many years serving as treasurer, coach, manager and umpire. He was so honored when last year the minor league field was dedicated to him. He had an amazing sense of humor and was known to be very “organized."

A viewing will be held on Thursday, June 28, 2018, from 10 a.m. to noon at the Havre de Grace United Methodist Church, 101 S. Union Avenue, Havre de Grace, MD 21078. Where a funeral service will be held at noon.

Officiating will be Pastor Norman Obenshain. Interment will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, friends and family may make contributions to the Havre de Grace Little League, P.O. Box 122, Havre de Grace, MD
