Tydings Bridge Crash Closed I-95 North On New Year's Eve

The Tydings Bridge was closed to traffic in one direction Thursday due to a midday crash.

A crash on the Tydings Bridge temporarily closed Interstate 95 to northbound traffic Thursday, according to state transportation officials.

The crash occurred after 1 p.m., and lanes reopened around 2:30 p.m.

Five vehicles were involved in the crash, which happened near milepost 91, officials said.

Following the crash on the bridge, which connects Harford and Cecil counties, traffic stacked up on I-95 toward Havre de Grace.
