BREAKING: Firefighters are handling an emergency involving a vehicle reportedly in the water near Havre de Grace.

HAVRE DE GRACE, MD — After a vehicle was reportedly in the Susquehanna River with a man standing on top of it Thursday afternoon, the Susquehanna Hose Company said its crews were responding.

The swiftwater team, one vehicle and the fire boat were called to Lapidum Landing, the hose company reported after 2 p.m.

The site where the emergency was reportedly occurring is in the area of Susquehanna State Park.
