Warrior Tree Returns To Havre de Grace High School
A distinguished alumnus gave back to Havre de Grace High School a special gift.
HAVRE DE GRACE, MD — Havre de Grace High School received an early Christmas present. The Warrior Tree, which students helped decorate for the "Holiday Tree Jubilee" over the weekend, has returned home to the school on Congress Avenue.
Dr. Louis Silverstein, who was inducted in 2017 into the Havre de Grace High School Hall of Fame for his service to the community, donated the tree to the school.
Havre de Grace High School named him in a post on Facebook, although he was described as an "anonymous benefactor."
