Warriors Football Battles In State Semifinals
The Havre de Grace High School Warriors end the season as three-time regional football champions.

HAVRE DE GRACE, MD — The Warriors' football season ended following a battle in Baltimore during the MPSSAA semifinals. Havre de Grace fell to Dunbar High School, 52-57, in the class 1A semifinals Saturday afternoon.
The Warriors close out the season as three-time regional champions in the 1A East.
For the past two years, the Warriors have made it to the state championship, where they have been defeated by the Sentinels.

Instead, this year the Dunbar Owls will take on the Fort Hill Sentinels in a battle for the state crown. Fort Hill has held the title for the past four years.
The Owls and Sentinels will play for the class 1A championship at 3:30 p.m. on Dec. 2 at the Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium.
