One Rescued From Water Near Tydings Bridge: Officials
A water rescue took place Saturday afternoon in the Susquehanna River, according to the Susquehanna Hose Company.

HAVRE DE GRACE, MD — After a kayak reportedly overturned near the Tydings Bridge, officials said they rescued one person from the water.
Crews from Havre de Grace responded to the call for a water rescue in the Susquehanna River near the bridge after 2:20 p.m. Saturday, the Susquehanna Hose Company reported.
Within 15 minutes, the fire company said its crew aboard the Susquehanna Hose Company fire boat had rescued the victim, who was being taken to the shores of Havre de Grace for a medical evaluation out of concern over hypothermia.
