What's Open, Closed For Thanksgiving 2017 In Havre de Grace
Government offices, libraries, schools and others will be taking a break during the holiday week in Havre de Grace.
HAVRE DE GRACE, MD – Most government offices and lots of businesses will be closing this week in Havre de Grace as we observe Thanksgiving.
Here's a rundown of what's open and what's closed in Havre de Grace for Thanksgiving 2017:
- City Hall will be closed Thursday, Nov. 23, and Friday, Nov. 24.
- Curbside collection planned for Thursday moves to Friday, and Friday collections will be picked up Saturday. No bulk collections will be scheduled for this week.
- Schools: Harford County Public Schools will close three hours early on Wednesday, Nov 22. Schools will be closed on Thursday, Nov. 23, and Friday, Nov. 24.
- College: Harford Community College will close at noon on Wednesday, Nov. 22, and remain closed until Monday, Nov. 27. The HCC library will be open on Saturday and Sunday.
- County: Harford County government will be closed Thursday, Nov. 23, and Friday, Nov. 24.
- State: It's a federal holiday, so federal and state government offices will be closed.
- Library: Harford County Public Library will be closed Thursday, Nov. 23, and Friday, Nov. 24.
- U.S. Postal Service: Post offices will be closed Thursday.
