Winning Powerball Ticket Sold In Aberdeen

A lottery ticket worth $50,000 sold in Harford County is unclaimed days later, according to the Maryland Lottery.

ABERDEEN, MD — A Powerball ticket worth $50,000 was sold at the Royal Farms in Aberdeen near Leidos Field, according to the Maryland Lottery. The prize money had not been claimed as of Tuesday, Sept. 8, officials said.

Lottery officials said the ticket was sold Friday, Sept. 4, for the drawing Saturday, Sept. 5.

Here are the winning numbers for the drawing: 15, 21, 22, 27 and 47. The Powerball was 7, and the Power Play multiplier was 2, according to the lottery authorities.

The winner purchased the ticket from the Royal Farms at 3710 Churchville Road in Aberdeen.

Officials say the winner should sign the back of the ticket and put it someplace safe until claiming the prize money by mail or in person by appointment at the Maryland Lottery headquarters at Montgomery Business Park, 1800 Washington Blvd., Suite 330, Baltimore, MD 21230.
