The Arc Baltimore Reschedules 2020 Annual Meeting

Event will feature award recognitions, election of officers and board.

The Arc Baltimore has rescheduled its 2020 Annual Meeting and Awards Ceremony, which will now be held on Tuesday, June 30, 6:30-8:30 p.m., at the Sheraton Baltimore North Hotel, 903 Dulaney Valley Road in Towson, MD.

In addition to the election of the organization’s new board of directors and officers, the Annual Meeting will feature award recognitions for a wide range of employees, community partners, and people supported by The Arc Baltimore. Awards to be presented include Employee of the Year, Outstanding Employee, Employer of Distinction, and the Stephen H. Morgan Award for Career Excellence.

The Annual Meeting and Awards Reception “offers a tremendous opportunity to recognize the outstanding services given to The Arc Baltimore and to the individuals it supports each year,” says the organization’s Chief Executive Officer, Kathleen McNally Durkin.

“The work of all of our award recipients and nominees, as well as so many others, plays a critical role in the continued success of The Arc Baltimore,” adds Durkin. “Their hard work and dedication are at the heart of our mission to support people with developmental disabilities in leading fulfilling lives with a sense of belonging and purpose.”

As in past years, WMAR-TV 2 news anchor Jamie Costello will again serve as emcee of The Annual Meeting and Awards Reception.

The Arc Baltimore supports people with developmental disabilities to lead fulfilling lives with a sense of belonging, purpose, and meaningful relationships.

As one of the nation's largest and most respected organizations of its kind, The Arc Baltimore is an indispensable resource, providing employment training and support, day and residential services, family support and education, treatment foster care, respite care, public policy advocacy and information, and referrals.

The Arc Baltimore’s 2020 Annual Meeting and Awards Reception will begin at 6:30 p.m. with a reception, followed at 7:30 p.m. with the Annual Meeting and Awards Ceremony. Tickets are $25 for staff and people receiving services from The Arc Baltimore, and $50 for all others.
