A $10,000 donation from Point Breeze Credit Union will be
used by SARC (The Sexual Assault/Spouse Abuse Resource Center) to provide
needed services to victims and survivors of domestic violence, sexual violence,
child abuse and stalking throughout Harford County.

“Because we rely completely on community support to offer a
wide range of services to those fleeing abuse in their lives, it is a
tremendous boost to receive a gift like that provided by Point Breeze,” says
SARC Development Director Neala Lancellotti.

According to Lancellotti, SARC’s services – all of which
are confidential and offered free of charge – include a 24-hour helpline,
abuser and crisis intervention, counseling services, legal representation and
advocacy, and a 20-bed shelter for victims.

20,000-square-foot building in order to better meet the needs of its members
