Win 2 Free Tickets to Hot August Blues and Roots Festival 2013

Grace Potter and the Nocturnals, Galatctic and Greensky Bluegrass, BoomBox and AntiBalas are just some of the talented bands who will headline the 2013 Hot August Blues and Roots Festival, organizers announced Monday.

Tickets for the impressive lineup happening at Oregon Ridge Park go on sale Thursday, March 7.

But organizers want to give you a shot at getting into the show for free.

"We will be giving away 2 free tickets on Wednesday!" organizers announced on the official concert Facebook page.

How you ask? Just a few simple social media requests.

• Step 1: "Like" Hot August Blues Facebook Page
• Step 2: "Like" the latest post at the top of the page.
• Step 3: Share the post on your own Facebook page. (That's click the share button. Don't just copy and paste the link.) 
• Bonus: Let them know you found this on Patch by commenting on the above mentioned post.

"That's it! Winner will be chosen Wednesday evening! Thanks for spreading the word!!!! Early Bird tickets go on sale Thursday!" the post goes on to say.

As of 1 p.m. Tuesday, 510 Facebook users had "liked" the post, while 616 users had "shared" it. Not bad odds if you ask me.

If you didn't guess by the name, the 20th annual backyard blues concert is happening in August, the 17th to be exact.
