East West Highway in Hyattsville Under Construction

The Maryland State Highway Administration is working on a $1.9 million safety and resurfacing project on more than 1.5 miles of East West Highway.

No doubt, you've seen the construction going on along East West Highway right in front of . Well, it's going to be around until fall, but the long term benefits might make the inconvenience worth it.

The Maryland State Highway Administration is working on a $1.9 million safety and resurfacing project on more than 1.5 miles of East West Highway between Riggs Road and . Weather permitting, the SHA said,  construction will be complete this fall.
