Firefighter Injured In 'May Day' House Fire Near FedEx Field
Two people self-evacuated from a home that caught fire early Sunday morning on Finch Court in Landover.
LANDOVER, MD — A firefighter was injured and hospitalized with burns sustained in an early Sunday morning fire in Landover.
Prince George County firefighters sounded a "May Day" alarm when the roof of the home in the 8100 block of Finch Court, steps from FedEx Field, collapsed around 4 a.m., fire officials said on Twitter.
Two residents of the home self-evacuated, according to a WJLA report.

Crews found the two-story home with fire coming from the attached garage, officials said. It was under control within an hour, they reported.
An update on the injured firefighter's condition wasn't available later Sunday morning.
