HYATTSVILLE, MD — Tyann Youmans of Hyattsville knows a hard worker when she sees one, and that's why she nominated Tywaneeka Hunt to be a Patch Local Hero.

The aim of Patch Local Heroes is to recognize members of the community who are going above and beyond during these trying times, and, according to Youmans, Hunt fits that description perfectly.

Hardest working woman I know never complains, she takes great joy in helping the community. Every time I call or see her, she’s helping someone. I love her work ethic and who she is as a person.

What’s one thing you want everyone to know about your hero?:
That she’s very courageous!
