Hyattsville Police Swarm Melrose Industrial Park

were on scene Wednesday evening for a situation at Melrose Industrial Park along the east side of the CSX Railroad tracks along Baltimore Avenue.

About eight police cars, including a Metro Transit Police K-9 unit were parked at the corner of Crittenden Street and also across the train tracks closer to several buildings at the park.

Police on duty at the time declined to go on the record with details, but one officer on site said they were attending to a "disturbance."

Patch was there and saw officers toting large guns and searching the area with flashlights. Several officers using what appeared to be a chopping tool busting in a door of one of the buildings.
