Northwestern Student Pulls Knife On Another Student

On June 16 about 3:41 p.m. SRO at , was told that a juvenile male student pulled out a knife on another student on the first floor hallway in building B.

According to , a review of the school’s CCTV system showed police who the suspect was and an attempt was made to stop and interview him, at which point he fled. The suspect was later stopped by school security and began to resist arrest. He was handcuffed and charged with assault and resisting arrest.

Police aren’t sure what the motive for this situation was but no one was injured, Purvis said.
