ON PURPOSE: Breast Cancer Survivors Walk At Hyattsville Mall To Raise Awareness
The walk was sponsored by All Shades of Pink, a breast cancer awareness group based in Glenn Dale and Washington Gas.
Moms, grandmas, daughters, nieces, sisters, granddaughters and local physicians on Oct. 8 to raise awareness to a common plight of many women.

(D-Dist. 2) of Hyattsville showed up to support the walkers, which also included a local faith-based group and men supporting the women in their lives who have survived—or are surviving—the killer disease.
