PG County Resident Shares Video Of Shots Fired From Vehicle
A Prince George's County resident posted video of two shoots being fired from a vehicle driving by his house early in the morning.

PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD -- A Prince George's County resident recently posted a video showing a car going down the street in front of their home. In this video as it appears on the Neighbors app, the car stops, there's a flash (0:14) and the sound of a gunshot, and then the car drives away. A short time later (0:54), another gunshot can be heard.
"Two shoots fired! See car as it passes my street!" the resident said, on a Neighbors post, which was posted from the Hyattsville area.
The timestamp on the video shows that the incident occurred Friday, Jan. 31, at 2:58 a.m.

"We did not receive any calls for service for gun shots during that time frame," said Lt. Zach Nemser of the Hyattsville Police Department's Patrol Services Division. "Also, by looking at the video, it doesn't appear to me that it occurred in the incorporated City of Hyattsville."

Nemser did find a report of gunshots being heard around that time near the intersection of Firehouse and Greely roads in Kentland.
An email to the Prince George's County Police Department's media relations office gained this response:
"At this time there was no confirmed shooting. Officers received one call of service for a shots fired on the below listed date and time. Officers responded to the area and conducted a search for any victims or evidence and nothing was found."
The email noted that the video has been shared with PGPD's investigations division, which was unaware of any video surveillance from the incident, for further investigation.
