Baby golden herons have a home on Oglethorpe Street.

Now introducing the famous yellow heron babies of Oglethorpe Street, taking flight training from their mother birds.

It is going on right now at 3817 Oglethorpe St.  

"This is a good balance to what happened at the UTC last night," said Bobby Poisson, who lives next to the property where the birds have nested in a tree.

"They have come for four straight years," he said. "There are three sets with almost-ready-to-fly-off babies in the tree. They will leave as soon as the adults teach the babies to fly.

Two weeks ago, Poisson and neighbor Jose Lopez, who lives at 3815 Olethorpe St. rescued one of the baby birds which had fallen, by calling animal control
