The Hyattsville City Council will take on a few major issues tonight, including:

- Deciding to extend police until Feb. 13. This appointment will continue without further council action until the city hires a full time administrator.
- Accepting a petition from the residents of Bridle Path Lane against sidewalk installation on either side of the street.
- Approving authorization for the city administrator to contract with HESS Engineering + Construction for bid documents for window replacement at the former . Â The bid amount cannot exceed $20,000.
- Discussion about redistricting city wards.
