Friday, July 10

  • It’s a celebration of flowers at the newBlooming Glory multimedia art exhibit at the Bohrer Park Activity Center in Gaithersburg. The exhibit is now through August 30.
  • Gold’s Gym is hosting an outdoor workout at Rockville Town Center from 10 to 11 a.m.
  • Have dinner at Bethesda’s new restaurant Not Your Average Joe’s during their pre-opening event. Reservations required.
  • The Town of Poolesville is hosting a “Picnic in the Park” from 6 p.m. at Whalen Commons. Yogi Bear movie starts at 8:30 p.m.
  • The Bethesda Art Walk begins at 6 p.m. Check out the map to plan your visit to participating galleries. Gallery B’s had an opening reception for their Abstraction II exhibit. Waverly Gallery’s glass exhibit Benthos also hosts an opening reception.
  • Musician and author Charlie Wilson will discuss his new book “I Am Charlie Wilson” at the Silver Spring Civic Center at 6 p.m.
  • The Dreamstreet perform classic rock at free Rockville Town Square outdoor concert at 6:30 p.m.
  • Ruben Montoya sings the blues for the Downtown Live concert at 6 p.m. at the Fountain Plaza followed by the film screening of Ninja Sharks at 8 p.m.
  • Lakefront Live outdoor concert features swing music by the King Teddy band at 6:30 p.m. in Gaithersburg.
  • Wheaton TGIF is back with music by VT & the crew followed with the movie “Penguins of Madagascar” at 7 p.m.
  • It’s the last night of Montgomery College’s Chautaugua featuring sports figure Jim Thorpe performed by Mark Megehee in Germantown at 7 p.m.
  • Fillmore Silver Spring presents their 80s vs 90s Dance Party hosted by Biz Markie at 8 p.m.
  • Round House Theatre in Bethesda presents the comedy Impossible! A Happenstance Circus at 8 p.m.
  • The musical The Producers is playing at Olney Theater through July 26. Tonights show is at 8 p.m.
  • Rockville Musical Theatre presents the musical The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas at F. Scott Fitzgerald Theater in Rockville at 8 p.m.
