Buy a Pumpkin, Feed a Family in Kensington
Kensington's St. Paul's United Methodist Church is selling pumpkins this weekend that will benefit its initiative to make 20895 the nation's first "hunger-free" zone.

Sure, most pumpkins can provide family fun, but most can't provide a needy family with a meal.
Kensington's St. Paul's United Methodist Church is selling pumpkins this weekend that will benefit its initiative to make 20895 the nation's first "hunger-free" zone.
The proceeds will also benefit a church mission to Nicaragua.Â
More than 1,000 pumpkins of all sizes will be available. Beginning Sunday, Oct. 13 at 11:30 a.m., the patch will be open seven days a week. Monday to Friday from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m., Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sundays from 11:30 am. to 6 p.m.
St. Paul's United Methodist Church is located at 10401 Armory Ave. in Kensington.
