European-Inspired Bakery Opens In Kensington

KENSINGTON, MD — Potomac Sweets, a European-style gourmet bakery, is now open in Kensington.

Located at 10419 Armory Ave., Potomac Sweets takes over the space formerly occupied by JennyCakes Bakery, a neighborhood favorite that recently shut its doors in part because of the pandemic.

Items on the menu include almond croissants, apple fritters, praline scones, and vanilla parisienne (thin waffle cookies).
