Families Invited to Noyes Storybook Parade
Children and adults can come dressed as their favorite storybook character, or watch as spectators, at a parade on June 3 at Noyes Library.

CELEBRATE IMAGINATION AT NOYES STORYBOOK PARADE
Families are invited to be part of the Storybook Parade hosted by the Noyes Children’s Library Foundation on June 3, 2017, in support of the Noyes Children’s Library in Kensington, Maryland.
Children and adults are encouraged to dress as their favorite storybook character and bring musical instruments (including drums, triangles and cymbals) to march in the parade. Classic characters, such as The Cat in the Hat, Winnie the Pooh, and Dorothy and Scarecrow from The Wizard of Oz, will also be participating.

The free event begins with the parade at 9:30 a.m. Lemonade and cookies will follow the parade, and the event ends at 10:30 a.m. The rain date is June 4.
The parade will follow a short route that begins at Noyes Children’s Library (10237 Carroll Place, Kensington, Maryland).

The mission of the Noyes Children’s Library Foundation is to raise funds, enhance early literacy programs and inspire community engagement so that all children can discover the wonder of books through Noyes Children’s Library.
