KENSINGTON, MD — Kathryn J. "Katie", "Nan" Barbieri, 103, of Garrett Park, MD passed away on Tuesday, September 25, 2018. She was the beloved wife of the late Bruno Barbieri; loving mother of Thomas Barbieri (Carol) and Peter Barbieri; grandmother of David Barbieri (Suzanne), Lauren Barbieri, Stephen Barbieri (Katie), Megan and Matthew Barbieri (Sara), and the late T.J. Barbieri (killed in action during Operation Iraqi Freedom 2006); great-grandmother of Emma, Chloe, Anna, T.J. and Joseph Barbieri.

Friends may call at St. Peter’s Catholic Church, 2900 Olney Sandy Spring Road, Olney, MD 20832 on Monday, October 1, 2018 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. when a Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 11 a.m.

Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Silver Spring, MD. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in her name to Catholic Charities, Archdiocese of Washington, DC, https://www.catholiccharities.org.
