String of Home Break-Ins in Kensington Fourth of July Weekend

Four people in Kensington reported having their homes broken into at the beginning of July, according to Montgomery County police crime summaries.
- Sometime between Tuesday, July 2 and Monday, July 8, items were stolen from a home in the 4000 block of Glenridge Street. Police said entry was forced. It is unclear what was stolen.
- Sometime between Tuesday, July 2 and Sunday, July 4, burglars broke into a home in the 4600 block of Saul Road and stole property.
- Burglars attempted to steal from a home in the 10700 block of Shaftsbury Street around 6 a.m. on Wednesday, July 3. Nothing was taken.
- Burglars tried to force their way into a home in the 4000 block of Glenrose Street between 9:30 a.m. and 10 p.m. on Wednesday, July 10. Nothing was taken.
